Overview
Katie believes that family is the most important part of people’s lives. She knows that it can be stressful and terrifying when family issues arise, particularly when the court system is involved. Katie understands that each family, situation, and case is different, and she listens to and works with clients to help them achieve the best outcome possible for their family. Katie has over a decade of trial experience, including more than six years focusing in divorce, marital, and family law, and when litigation is necessary, she zealously represents clients in court. Katie is admitted to practice in all Florida and New York state courts.
Katie’s primary goal in in her legal career is to help people. After graduating from law school, she began practicing law in New York, New York, representing doctors and hospitals facing medical malpractice claims. After moving to Naples with her husband and son in 2015, she began practicing family law at Legal Aid Service of Collier County.
Before law school, Katie and her husband were instrumental in opening a local favorite, Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers. She enjoys family movie nights, reading, cooking, and escaping to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York to hike and relax.
Professional and Civic Affiliations
Katie is a member of the Collier County Bar Association. She previously worked with victims and survivors of domestic violence for six years through Legal Aid Service of Collier County. Today, she volunteers time to Legal Aid in order to continue assisting low-income residents with family law services.
