Madison Tanner to Moderate Panel at ABA Spring 2026 National Legal Malpractice Conference

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that stockholder Madison Tanner will serve as a moderator at the American Bar Association’s Spring 2026 National Legal Malpractice Conference, taking place April 22–24, 2026, at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.

A member of the firm’s Tort & Insurance Litigation practice, Tanner will moderate the session, “Behind the Credentials: How to Break Down the Plaintiff’s Expert and Strengthen Your Defense.”

The session will focus on strategies for effectively deposing plaintiff experts, including identifying weaknesses in expert opinions, securing key admissions, and translating technical testimony into clear and persuasive arguments for trial. The presentation will provide practical guidance drawn from real-world litigation experience. Tanner shares,

“The foundation for trial is often built during the expert deposition. A well-executed approach can clarify complex issues and create meaningful advantages for the defense. I look forward to joining Attorneys Maria Priovolos-Gonzalez and Peter DeMahy for this session.”

Tanner focuses her practice on premises liability, personal injury defense, legal malpractice, Florida Bar grievances, and insurance coverage matters. She also serves as General Counsel to the Hendry County School District, advising on legal, regulatory, and risk management issues.

Tanner has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in Personal Injury Defense from 2022 through 2025 and was named a “Top Lawyer” by Naples Illustrated for personal injury litigation in 2023 and legal malpractice law in 2024.
