Keefe Earns Florida Bar Board Certification in Condominium and Planned Development Law
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that stockholder Colby Keefe has achieved Board Certification in Condominium and Planned Development Law by The Florida Bar. Approximately seven percent of eligible Florida Bar members have earned board certification in one or more of The Florida Bar’s 27 specialty areas.
Board certification is the highest level of specialization recognized by The Florida Bar and is granted to attorneys who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, skills, professionalism, ethics, and substantial involvement in a specific area of law. Established by the Florida Supreme Court and administered by The Florida Bar, the certification process includes rigorous peer review, extensive practice requirements, continuing legal education, and a comprehensive examination.
Keefe serves as Chair of Henderson Franklin’s Real Estate Department. Her practice focuses on representing community associations as general counsel and advising clients on real estate development matters, including residential communities and commercial subdivisions. She regularly assists condominium and homeowners’ associations with covenant enforcement, governing document interpretation and amendments, compliance issues, vendor contracts, collections, and lien foreclosures.
Reflecting on this achievement, Keefe shared:
“Earning Board Certification in Condominium and Planned Development Law is a significant professional milestone. Community association law continues to evolve, particularly in Florida, and I am committed to providing clients with the highest level of legal counsel in this complex area. I am grateful to my colleagues, mentors, and clients whose trust and support have contributed to this accomplishment.”
