Overview
Edward, a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer, specializes in real estate law with a focus on commercial and residential development, real estate acquisitions, real estate finance, survey matters, title insurance, and commercial leasing. He has extensive experience representing real estate developers, builders, government agencies, lenders, non-profit organizations, and national title insurance underwriters.
As the firm’s Managing Lawyer, Edward oversees the overall direction and growth of the firm. Previously, he led several key initiatives as the chair of the Real Estate Department, Associate Committee, and Expansion Committee, where he guided strategic decisions and fostered collaboration across departments.
Edward was the Valedictorian of his law class and served as Law Review Associate Editor. While in law school, he authored four publications involving constitutional rights, eminent domain and bankruptcy. Edward is a three-time recipient of West Publishing Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and received four American Jurisprudence Book Awards. He also served as a federal judicial intern and completed an internship with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
Recognized as a “Top Lawyer” in Real Estate Law by Naples Illustrated (2018, 2020-2024), Edward was previously named a “Rising Star” by Florida Super Lawyers®. In 2019, Gulfshore Business Magazine featured him on its elite “40 Under 40” list.
Edward is a native of Ohio and currently resides in Fort Myers. He enjoys skiing, golf, and hiking.
Professional And Civic Affiliations
Edward is a past president of the Southwest Florida Real Estate Council and a member of the Real Estate Investment Society (REIS). Additionally, he serves on the Executive Committee Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties, Inc. and is a 2009 graduate of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Leadership class.
