Henderson Franklin Welcomes Mary Saunders to the Estate and Trust Planning Department
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Mary E. Saunders has joined the firm as a senior associate in the Estate and Trust Planning Department based out of the firm’s Bonita Springs office.
“Mary brings a thoughtful and practical approach to estate planning and trust administration matters,” Amanda Dorio, co-chair of Henderson Franklin’s Estate and Trust Department shares. “Her diverse legal and business background provides valuable perspective for clients navigating important family and financial decisions, and we are pleased to welcome her to the firm.”
With more than 20 years of legal experience, Saunders focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration. She works with individuals and families throughout Southwest Florida on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, succession planning and related estate planning matters designed to address both personal and financial considerations.
Saunders also assists clients with trust and estate administration matters, helping families navigate the legal and financial responsibilities that often arise following the loss of a loved one. Her experience includes working with blended families, long-term planning considerations and matters involving family-owned assets and business interests. Saunders shares,

Before joining Henderson Franklin, Saunders gained experience in a variety of legal and business settings, including serving as in-house corporate counsel handling corporate matters, contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property and compliance matters. She also operated a solo practice focused on residential real estate and short sale negotiations and has experience in residential real estate sales in Southwest Florida.
