Fort Myers Litigation Expert Michael Corso to Present Ethics for Engineers at Purdue University
Florida litigation expert Michael Corso will present “Ethics for Engineers” to students, faculty, alumni and industry vendors involved with aerospace engineering worldwide at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
Corso has been Florida Bar Board Certified in Civil Trial Law for over 30 years and over 20 years in Business Litigation Law. He is Chair of Henderson Franklin’s Tort & Insurance Litigation Division, Chair of the Marketing Committee and member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Corso focuses his practice on matters involving product liability and the defense of non-medical professionals such as lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, and surveyors. He frequently speaks throughout the United States on issues regarding the defense of non-medical professionals, law office risk management issues, and drone law.
Corso has received much recognition throughout his legal career, including the 2011 Outstanding Aerospace Engineer Award by Purdue University, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association President’s Award, the Defense Research Institute’s Exceptional Performance Citation, as well as being named to Florida Super Lawyers® and Florida Trend magazine’s Legal Elite®. Corso is also AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Florida Engineering Society and past president of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, Corso was in the United States Air Force, with the rank of Captain, as a pilot, aerospace engineer, and ending his military career in their JAG lawyer program. He received his undergraduate degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University (B.S., 1971) and his law degree from Villanova University (J.D., 1974).
