Florida Tax Attorney Guy Whitesman Presents CLE in New Orleans
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt is pleased to announce that Business and Tax attorney Guy Whitesman will serve as a panelist discussing hot topics at The Florida Bar Tax Section Directors meeting taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 20th. The Florida Bar Tax Section previously honored Whitesman by naming him the 2021-2022 Gerald T. Hart “Outstanding Tax Attorney” of the year.
Whitesman is an active member and the past chair of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar. He’s been Board Certified in Tax Law since 1992, and he is a past chairman of the Tax Law Certification Committee which oversees the board certification process. In addition, Whitesman frequently writes and speaks on issues regarding taxation, business, and estate planning to members of the public, as well as to accountants and attorneys through Florida Bar and other nationally recognized continuing legal education programs.
Whitesman was included in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® as “Lawyer of the Year” for Corporate Law in the Fort Myers area. Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers® has become universally regarded as the definitive, unbiased guide to legal excellence that arrives at its conclusions through peer review.
