Florida Litigation Attorney Amanda Sharkey Ross Discusses Legal Ethics and More in Fort Myers
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, November 5, Litigation Attorney Amanda Sharkey Ross was among an esteemed list of speakers discussing “Advanced Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Law” at the Crowne Plaza in Fort Myers. She presented “Effective Settlement Negotiations and Arbitration,” as well as “Legal Ethics in Insurance Practice.”
Ross focuses her litigation practice in the areas of transportation (automobile, marine, trucking) liability, premises liability, negligent security, wrongful death, construction litigation, and product liability. Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, Ross worked in the Miami area and handled maritime and admiralty defense, as well as vessel and yacht purchase and sale transactions. Ross is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Throughout her legal career, Ross has received much recognition including being named a ‘Top Lawyer’ in 2019 by Naples Illustrated for her work in admiralty and maritime law. She is a member of the Stetson University Alumni Board as a district representative, and an active member of the University of Miami Hurricane Club. Ross also volunteers Teen Court of Lee County, Bonita Springs Little League, and Pinewoods Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization.
