Overview
Haylee Blessing assists individuals and families with estate planning and advises clients on business law matters from Henderson Franklin’s Bonita Springs office. A Fort Myers native, she has deep roots in Southwest Florida and takes a practical approach to helping clients understand their options and plan for the future.
Haylee first joined Henderson Franklin through the firm’s Summer Associate Program before returning as a full-time associate. She earned both her J.D., magna cum laude, and MBA from Stetson University, giving her a legal and business foundation that complements her practice.
Haylee regularly writes about Florida estate planning issues, offering practical guidance to help individuals and families better understand their options and make informed planning decisions. Her recent articles include:

Haylee is a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. As a member of the Stetson Business Law Review, she earned the Outstanding New Associate Award and went on to become an Articles & Symposia editor, playing a critical role in shaping the publication. Haylee also held leadership roles on the Student Leadership Development Committee and Tax Law Society.
Haylee and her husband, both Fort Myers High School graduates, are thrilled to return to their hometown after living in St. Petersburg for three years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her miniature dachshund, Jeter, as well as cheering on her favorite sports teams.
Professional and Civic Affiliations
Haylee is deeply committed to giving back to the community. During law school, she volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program through United Way Suncoast, where she prepared tax returns for low- and moderate-income individuals. Now back in Fort Myers, she plans to continue her involvement with local organizations, including United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades, to make a positive impact on the community she calls home.
