Kelly Continues Service as Chairman of the IMAG Board of Directors
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Attorney Carlos A. Kelly, a stockholder in the firm’s Business Litigation practice group, serves as Chairman of the IMAG History & Science Center’s (“IMAG”) Board of Directors. The IMAG provides entertainment for families with over 60 hands-on exhibits, an aquarium, and a 3D virtual reality experience. The 2019 IMAG Gala on March 30 will focus on hurricane history. Gala attendees will be able to step inside a hurricane simulator and learn about the major hurricanes that have impacted Southwest Florida.
Kelly is a passionate advocate for his clients’ business and real estate interests. He helps his business clients in the areas of partner/shareholder claims, creditors’ rights, and other contract-based claims. Kelly also assists his real estate clients in the areas of eminent domain, inverse condemnation, Bert J. Harris, Jr., Private Property Rights Protection Act claims, purchase and sale disputes, landlord/tenant claims, and foreclosure. Kelly has been published by The Florida Bar and frequently contributes regularly to Henderson Franklin’s Legal Scoop on Southwest Florida Real Estate Blog.
Kelly also serves on the Chamber of Southwest Florida Board of Directors, the Uncommon Friends Foundation Board of Directors, and on SalusCare, Inc.’s Finance Committee. He is a member of the Real Estate Investment Society and the Association of Eminent Domain Professionals. Kelly also has been a member of The Florida Bar’s Eminent Domain Committee for over ten years.
