Henderson Franklin Continues its Commitment to Mentorship and Welcomes the 2025 Summer Associate Class
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to welcome Dylan McHugh, Kate McQuagge, Ethan Goodman and Quinten Zak as members of its 2025 Summer Associate Class.
Each year, Henderson Franklin’s Summer Associate Program offers a select group of law students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience across a broad range of legal practice areas. Under the mentorship of experienced attorneys, summer associates participate in client meetings, hearings and depositions, as well as draft memoranda, pleadings and other court documents. The program is designed to offer a realistic view of life in a full-service law firm while helping students build their skills and explore their professional interests.
Dylan McHugh returns to Henderson Franklin for a second summer. He is a Fort Myers native and a rising 2L at Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where he studied Business Administration and Information Systems. During his first summer with the firm, McHugh contributed to projects involving personal injury, real estate, business litigation, and torts.
Kate McQuagge is a Fort Myers native and rising 2L at Stetson University College of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Humanities from Florida State University. McQuagge previously worked at family law and criminal defense firms, where she developed a strong interest in client service and courtroom procedure. She is also a certified Guardian ad Litem volunteer.
Ethan Goodman is a rising 2L at Florida State University College of Law. He began his legal studies at Nova Southeastern University, earning Dean’s List honors and participating in the Nova Law Review. A Tulane University graduate with dual majors in International Relations and Spanish, Goodman brings research and writing experience from internships with Court Watch NOLA. He also worked as a sports editor and academic tutor, combining analytical insight with effective communication.
Quinten Zak is a rising 2L at Ave Maria School of Law. He serves as President of the Student Bar Association and is a Junior Editor for the Law Review, in addition to his involvement in Moot Court and the Business Law Institute. Zak earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, cum laude, from Missouri University of Science and Technology and brings a strong analytical mindset and technical problem-solving ability to the legal field.
