Henderson Franklin Attorney William Boltrek Joins Statewide Panel on ICE Enforcement MOA
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that stockholder and litigation attorney William (“Bill”) Boltrek will be a featured panelist on an upcoming statewide webinar hosted by the Public Risk Management of Florida (PRM). The webinar, taking place Wednesday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m., is open to PRM’s member organizations, including police chiefs, city and county managers, municipal administrators, human resource professionals and risk managers across Florida.
The panel will provide an in-depth overview of the recently issued Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) 287(g) Task Force Model, which was released to law enforcement agencies by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This agreement empowers local law enforcement officers to carry out certain federal immigration enforcement functions under ICE supervision—a topic that carries significant legal, operational and community impact.
With more than 20 years of experience, Boltrek leads the firm’s representation of sheriffs, police officers and municipal leaders facing civil litigation. His practice focuses on complex tort and insurance matters, particularly those involving use of force and other civil rights matters. Boltrek also represents healthcare professionals in malpractice and licensure proceedings.
