Florida Construction Law Expert Aaron Haak to Speak at SUBExcel 2026

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Florida Bar Board Certified Construction Attorney Aaron Haak will participate in the American Subcontractors Association National Convention, SUBExcel, Attorneys Council’s “Stump the Attorney” panel on Thursday, October 1, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The interactive session will allow subcontractors and other construction professionals to ask questions directly of attorneys who work closely with the construction industry.

With more than 25 years of experience in construction law and business litigation, Haak advises and represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners and other construction professionals. His construction practice includes contract drafting and negotiation, construction lien and payment claims, construction defect matters and disputes involving delays, scope changes and performance issues. He represents clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution and works with construction businesses to identify potential risks before disputes arise.

SUBExcel 2026 brings together subcontractors, construction industry leaders and professionals for education, networking and discussion of issues affecting the subcontracting community. This year’s conference includes programs addressing construction contracts and risk, cash flow, technology, disaster preparedness, business succession and other operational challenges facing contractors.

Haak is a stockholder in Henderson Franklin’s Business Litigation Department and practices from the firm’s Fort Myers office.
