Corso to Present on the Legal Landscape of Artificial Intelligence to The Rotary Club of Fort Myers

Florida Litigation Attorney Michael CorsoHenderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that stockholder Michael Corso, a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial and Business Litigation expert, will present “Navigating the Legal Landscape of Artificial Intelligence” to The Rotary Club of Fort Myers on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of everyday business operations, from drafting communications and analyzing data to reviewing contracts, conducting research, automating workflows, and even transcribing meetings. While these tools offer efficiency and cost savings, they also raise important legal and ethical questions. During his presentation, Corso will discuss how businesses are currently using AI, what can go wrong when AI-generated information is inaccurate or fabricated, how courts are responding to misuse, and what business leaders should consider to protect confidential information, reduce liability exposure, and implement responsible policies.

“As AI technology advances at an extraordinary pace, business owners need to understand both the advantages and the risks,” Corso said. “Used thoughtfully, AI can support productivity and decision-making. Used carelessly, it can create significant legal exposure.”

Corso concentrates his practice in tort and insurance litigation, representing non-medical professionals, including lawyers, engineers, architects, and accountants. He is also a frequent speaker and published author on evolving legal topics, particularly in professional liability and drone regulation.

Corso’s distinguished career has been recognized with numerous state and national honors reflecting both his technical background and his legal leadership. In 2022, he was named The Florida Bar Board Certified Lawyer of the Year and “Professional Engineer of the Year” by the Florida Engineering Society, Calusa Chapter. He has been selected to Florida Super Lawyers® every year since 2007, including the “Top 100 Lawyers in Florida,” and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for more than a decade.

Corso obtained his BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and earned his law degree from Villanova University. He may be reached at 239-344-1170 or via email at michael.corso@henlaw.com.
