Staff Attorney – Workers’ Compensation Defense

Henderson Franklin is seeking a full-time workers’ compensation defense staff attorney for its Fort Myers office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in workers’ compensation defense law preparing pleadings, correspondence, and medical summaries under the direction of senior associate/partner; may also attend depositions. Candidate should have the ability to analyze case facts, law and theories. Position does not entail marketing responsibilities or court appearances. Florida Bar admission required. Paralegal – Fort Myers

Henderson Franklin is currently accepting resumes for a skilled paralegal in our Tort and Insurance practice. The ideal candidates should have:

  • Minimum of three to five years paralegal experience in insurance defense or similar specialty
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis
  • Computer proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel), document management and time entry software required
  • Proficiency in Aderant Total Office is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; demonstrated understanding of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team environment
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Paralegal degree, NALA Certification or Florida Registered Paralegal preferred

Secretary/Administrative Assistant – Fort Myers
