Business Litigation Senior Associate, Fort Myers Office

Henderson Franklin, a full service law firm located in Southwest Florida, is seeking a litigation attorney with at least four years’ experience. The associate attorney will work alongside our partners in the Business Litigation department, drafting substantive pleadings, motions and discovery, conducting depositions, and participating in trials and other projects. Substantive experience with construction-related claims and real estate-related claims are a plus.

Applicants must have excellent academic credentials, strong legal research and writing ability, excellent organizational skills, and be motivated to succeed. The successful candidate must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing. Tort & Insurance Associate Attorney, Fort Myers Office

Henderson Franklin is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 3 years insurance litigation experience, with exceptional writing and analytical skills. The position involves drafting and reviewing pleadings, evaluating cases, responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiating settlements. Litigation Legal Assistant

Henderson Franklin is seeking a skilled legal assistant with litigation experience. Our team of legal assistants provide support to attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks including scheduling, e-filing and billing. The successful legal assistant will work collaboratively and cooperatively with peers, staff, and attorneys in a team-oriented environment. Ideal candidates should have:

  • A minimum of three years of administrative support experience in a legal office environment supporting litigation attorneys;
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and calendars for up to two attorneys;
  • Experience using document management and client management software applications;
  • Strong computer proficiency and intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel);
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; demonstrated understanding of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation;
  • Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail;
  • Poised and professional with the ability to effectively interact with attorneys, clients, and co-workers within a team environment;
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines;
  • A willingness to learn and be flexible with assignments;
  • Knowledge of state and federal filings is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team environment;

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
