Firm Administrator

Henderson Franklin is seeking an experienced Firm Administrator (“Administrator”) to join our team.

The Administrator plays a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our three offices in Southwest Florida (Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples) consisting of approximately fifty attorneys plus administration and staff. The Administrator reports directly to, and works closely with, the Managing Partner. The Administrator also works closely with our Executive Committee and five administrative department leaders (direct reports to the Administrator) to provide operational oversight and develop and implement strategic plans that fuel the continued success of the firm. The Administrator must demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills, sound judgment, collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. A strong commitment to fostering firm culture and values is required.

The ideal candidate will have seven plus years’ hands-on experience as an administrator and a demonstrated record of success within a mid-sized law firm, strong communication, planning, financial skills, and experience supervising a management team. The ability to identify problems and solutions, and to facilitate change is essential in this role.

The Administrator is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operational functions and will participate in and help execute strategic initiatives with a focus on increasing the firm’s productivity, efficiency, and profitability. The Administrator will oversee all business and financial matters of the Firm, including operations, human resources, finance, marketing & business development, information technology and facilities management.

Senior Litigation Associate, Fort Myers Office

Henderson Franklin is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our team. The associate attorney will work alongside our litigation partners, drafting substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery, conducting depositions, and participating in trials and other projects. Substantive experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: construction-related claims, real estate-related claims, accidents, bankruptcies, employment law, or contract disputes.

Applicants must have four or more years’ experience, strong legal research and writing ability, excellent organizational skills, and be motivated to succeed. The successful candidate must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing. Paralegal Business Litigation, Fort Myers

Henderson Franklin is searching for experienced paralegals to support the delivery of quality legal services to clients. Our team of paralegals provide assistance to attorneys, perform complex and specialized tasks, while maintaining confidentiality of clients and matters. The successful paralegal will work collaboratively and cooperatively with peers, staff, and attorneys in a team-oriented environment. Experience in Insurance Defense or Business Litigation is required.

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Minimum of three years paralegal experience working with litigation files;
  • Solid understanding of Florida legal requirements and timelines;
  • Strong computer proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, document management and time entry software;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team environment;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines;
  • Paralegal degree, NALA Certification or Florida Registered Paralegal a plus.
