Overview
As a Fort Myers native, Margaret (“Maggie”) Nolan is proud to help individuals, businesses, developers and property owners navigate Florida real estate matters in the community she has always called home. She is an associate in Henderson Franklin’s Real Estate Department, where she assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions and related legal matters.
Before joining Henderson Franklin, Maggie practiced real estate litigation at a Tampa law firm, representing property owners and landlords in evictions, lease disputes and other real property matters. Her litigation experience provides valuable perspective when helping clients identify potential risks, resolve issues efficiently and protect their interests before disputes arise.
Maggie’s interest in real estate law developed naturally. Growing up in a family with deep roots in Southwest Florida real estate, she gained an early appreciation for the industry and the role attorneys play in helping clients achieve successful outcomes. Maggie enjoys the practical nature of real estate law and values building trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, sound legal guidance and attentive service.
Maggie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Florida before receiving her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Ave Maria School of Law. While in law school, she served as both an Associate Editor and Senior Editor of the Ave Maria Law Review and worked as a teaching assistant for Legal Analysis, Writing and Research.
While attending law school, Maggie clerked for the Honorable Kyle C. Dudek of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where she strengthened her legal research and writing skills while gaining valuable insight into the federal court system.
A graduate of St. Francis Xavier School and Bishop Verot High School, Maggie enjoys spending time on the water, boating, fishing, visiting Southwest Florida beaches, reading thriller novels, traveling and discovering new restaurants.
