Henderson Franklin Attorney David Roos Featured Panelist at the 79th Annual WCI Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference

Florida Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney David RoosHenderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that David Hamilton Roos, Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, served as a panelist at the 79th Annual Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI) Educational Conference held August 17-20, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

Roos participated in the session titled “Fraud Prevention and Detection and How to Deal with It,” where panelists explored the many forms of insurance fraud, its impact on the industry and evolving strategies used to detect and prevent it. Moderated by Craig Campbell of Summit Holdings, the panel also included Andrew Barson of Frasco Investigative Services, Chris Welch of the Bureau of Insurance Fraud and Michele Turner of Summit/Great America Insurance. Attendees gained practical insight into the legal, investigative, and claims-handling perspectives on this critical issue. Roos shares,

With over two decades of experience in defending workers’ compensation claims, Roos is recognized as a leader in the field. He represents insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and employers throughout Florida. Naples Illustrated has consistently named him a “Top Lawyer” in Workers’ Compensation Law since 2018.
