Peter W. Kamm

Overview

Peter Kamm brings an impressive wealth of litigation experience spanning nearly two decades. He represents insurance carriers, individuals, and businesses in a wide range of cases, specifically focusing on automobile and premises liability claims. Peter’s comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape enables him to navigate complex legal issues and advocate for his clients. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.

Beyond his work defense work, Peter also extends his legal assistance with empathy to homeowners grappling with hurricane claims. Recognizing the unique and often overwhelming circumstances, he strives to provide compassionate support and legal guidance throughout the claims process. Additionally, Peter aims to help homeowners navigate the complexities of insurance policies, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.

Upon completing Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia, Peter’s legal career began as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Judge Advocate. He served as both a prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney and as Senior Defense Counsel, achieving the rank of Captain prior to an honorable discharge. As a civilian, he entered into private-sector representation in personal injury cases and premise liability claims, working for and climbing the ranks within two of the region’s largest firms.

Peter is an experienced trial advocate and a strategic planner. Under his leadership managing a team of personal injury attorneys, his previous firm nearly doubled its client relationships within one year. At Henderson Franklin, Peter is a welcome source of strength in the courtroom and wisdom in the boardroom.

Peter graduated with his B.A. from Furman University in South Carolina. He obtained his J.D. from the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. When not working, he enjoys golfing, hiking, and traveling.

Peter is a member of the Florida Bar and Sons of the American Revolution. He volunteers at the local Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
