Overview

Peter Kamm is a stockholder in the firm’s Tort and Insurance practice group. He brings nearly two decades of trial acumen and today represents insurance carriers in the defense of automobile and premises liability claims. Peter is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.

Upon completing Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia, Peter’s legal career began as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Judge Advocate. He served as both a prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney and as Senior Defense Counsel, achieving the rank of Captain prior to an honorable discharge. As a civilian, he entered into private-sector representation in personal injury cases and premise liability claims, working for and climbing the ranks within two of the region’s largest firms.

Peter is an experienced trial advocate and a strategic planner. Under his leadership managing a team of personal injury attorneys, his previous firm nearly doubled its client relationships within one year. At Henderson Franklin, Peter is a welcome source of strength in the courtroom and wisdom in the boardroom.

Peter graduated with his B.A. from Furman University in South Carolina. He obtained his J.D. from the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. When not working, he enjoys golfing, hiking, and traveling.

Professional and Civic Affiliations

Peter is a member of the Florida Bar and Sons of the American Revolution. He volunteers at the local Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Representative Matters

  • Represented a variety of insurance carriers in the defense of simple property damage claims to wrongful death cases.
