Overview
Karen Adkins is a paralegal in the Real Estate Department. She helps attorneys and clients tackle issues that may arise with commercial and residential real estate closings.
Karen draws on over a decade of legal experience to prepare, review and obtain necessary documents and coordinate with all parties to ensure timely closings and disbursements. She enjoys that her knowledge grows with each unique transaction, and working with the attorneys in her department keeps her informed about the ever-evolving real estate market.
Karen obtained her Associates in Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Florida SouthWestern State College and her Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. She was born and raised in Charlotte County, Florida.
Karen is a working mom of two active daughters. Her evenings and weekends often include running around to practices and games, which she wouldn’t have any other way.
