Overview
As a husband, father and grandfather, Jim understands how important it is to preserve his client’s legacy for future generations. That is why he concentrates his practice assisting clients throughout Southwest Florida in matters of wills, trusts and estate planning.
Drawing on nearly 40 years of practicing law, Jim works with each client to prepare a customized estate plan to meet their goals. Often times this involves addressing myriad complex issues within a family dynamic, including second marriages, step-children, and when aspects of a family-owned business are involved.
Jim is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts. He is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States of America. In 2024, Jim was recognized by his peers and named a “Top Lawyer” issue of Naples Illustrated magazine for his work in trusts and estates.
Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, he worked in a Bonita Springs law firm for 31 years. When not working, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and working out.
