Overview

Craig Goddy is a Naples-based litigation attorney who represents banks, lenders, and real estate investors in complex commercial and financial disputes across Florida. His litigation practice focuses on business litigation, commercial property disputes, creditors’ rights, and real estate litigation.

Craig regularly advises community banks, regional lenders, national financial institutions, and private real estate investment groups in matters involving loan defaults, mortgage and lien enforcement, lender liability defense, and Uniform Commercial Code security issues. His knowledge of Florida’s legal and regulatory environment makes him a trusted resource for resolving disputes efficiently and strategically.

In the commercial real estate sector, Craig regularly works with landlords, property managers, and developers on lease enforcement, commercial eviction litigation, and contract disputes. As a licensed Florida title agent, he also assists clients with litigation involving title defects, boundary disputes, and partition actions.

Craig also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in contested probate and trust litigation, including matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, mismanagement of estate assets, and conflicts over the interpretation or administration of trusts and wills. His courtroom experience and strategic approach provide clients with effective guidance in emotionally charged estate disputes.

In addition, Craig maintains an entertainment law practice, advising clients in the film and music industries on contract negotiations, rights management, and legal disputes involving contractual issues and negotiations for client. He also represents music venues and artists with regard to concerts and shows.

Craig earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and graduated cum laude from Kent State University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Pennsylvania, including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Craig now lives in Naples, Florida, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, supporting Pittsburgh sports teams, and spending time with family.
