Overview
Angela Gjoni is a paralegal in Henderson Franklin’s Estate Planning Department. She supports attorneys throughout the estate planning process by preparing and organizing documents, coordinating information, and assisting with matters from initial meetings through execution and follow-up.
Angela’s responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and revision of estate planning documents for attorney review, coordinating client meetings and signings, managing case files and deadlines, and organizing documents for execution. She also attends signings and serves as a notary or witness when needed. In addition, Angela assists with trust administration and guardian advocacy matters, particularly those involving accountings.
With more than four years of experience in the legal field, Angela has focused her career on estate planning. Before joining Henderson Franklin in August 2025, she gained extensive hands-on experience at a law firm, working closely with experienced attorneys, beginning as a legal assistant and earning a promotion to paralegal within her first year.
Angela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She values continued learning and professional growth and may pursue further legal education in the future.
Born in Albania and raised in Naples, Angela enjoys traveling, drawing, and spending time with family and friends outside of work. She can often be found at trivia nights, watching sunsets, or playing cards with friends. Angela is currently learning Italian and enjoys reading fiction.
Angela appreciates the collaborative, supportive environment in the Bonita Springs office and values the professionalism of the Estate Planning team. She enjoys working closely with her supervising attorney, Lisa Goddy, and appreciates the continuity of their established working relationship.
