Overview
Kristin Carr is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and a member of Henderson Franklin’s Tort and Insurance Litigation Department. She assists attorneys by managing case files, organizing discovery materials, and monitoring deadlines in complex litigation matters.
Her work includes supporting discovery preparation and document production, assisting with deposition and mediation preparation, organizing medical chronologies and collateral source summaries, reviewing transcripts, and conducting investigative research. Kristin also coordinates medical records and billing documentation, prepares case-related summaries, and facilitates document exchanges with experts to support the litigation team.
Kristin brings more than three decades of experience in the legal industry, having begun her career in 1991 in Iowa, primarily supporting plaintiff-side personal injury and wrongful death matters. She also worked in defense litigation on the West Coast, assisting with cases involving the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services and personal injury matters.
Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, Kristin has called Southwest Florida home since the Spring of 2025. Outside of work, she is an avid runner who participates in marathons and half marathons and enjoys skiing, hiking, swimming, golfing, and reading.
Kristin values the collaborative nature of the Tort and Insurance Litigation team and appreciates working closely with attorneys on challenging and complex cases. She finds the environment motivating and looks forward to continuing to learn and grow alongside her colleagues.
