Overview
Katherine Moran is an associate in Henderson Franklin’s Tort and Insurance Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on property insurance claims, construction defects and general litigation matters. Known for her forthright communication and strategic mindset, Katherine collaborates with clients to evaluate risk, assess the strengths of each case and determine the most effective path forward, whether that is litigation or resolution. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.
Before joining Henderson Franklin, Katherine gained valuable experience at several well-regarded Florida insurance defense firms and served as staff counsel for a regional insurance company. Over the years, she has handled a broad range of litigation tasks including depositions, motion practice, discovery and mediation.
Katherine has represented major carriers and managed caseloads of 80 to 100+ matters at a time. She is passionate about delivering clear, honest legal guidance and enjoys building persuasive cases from the ground up. Katherine looks forward to expanding her practice to include construction defect and other complex litigation matters.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Katherine now calls Southwest Florida home. Outside the office, she enjoys playing guitar and horseback riding.
