Thomson Named Chairman of Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Attorney Donald Thomson has been named Chairman of the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council (“BSEEDC”). The BSEEDC’s mission is to be the local area’s economic development resource partner for promoting business and workforce retention, development, and growth.

Thomson is the managing attorney of the firm's Bonita Springs’ office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate and is a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court. Thomson spends countless hours serving on the boards of many Southwest Florida community organizations, including the Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida, the Center for the Arts Bonita Springs, the YMCA of Bonita Springs, and Imperial River Conservancy. He also serves as Chairman of the Corporate Advisory Board of The Terraces of Bonita Springs.

Thomson has received much recognition for his community efforts over the years, including the Bonita Springs Community Foundation Love of Bonita Award, the Bonita Springs Citizen of the Year Award, the Bonita Springs Chamber Pat Lord Award, the Bonita Springs/Naples YMCA Pioneer Preeminent Award, the Bonita Springs Chamber Director of the Year Award and named as one of Naples Daily News “25 over 50” for his professional achievements, philanthropic missions and leadership ability. Thomson has also been recognized by his clients and peers and included in Best Lawyers in America® (2013-2017) and Florida Super Lawyers (2014-2017). He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
