Scott Beatty Named Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Southwest Florida attorney Scott A. Beatty has been selected as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (“CLSA”).

The CLSA is an invitation-only international honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers specializing in construction law and related fields. Fellowship is limited and selective, with lawyers being invited into Fellowship upon a proven record of excellence and accomplishment in construction law at both the trial and appellate levels.

Beatty serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and is a shareholder in the firm’s Business Litigation division. He focuses his litigation practice in business disputes, construction and lien law litigation, contract disputes, collections and foreclosures. Beatty also has an active real estate litigation practice, handling boundary and border disputes, as well as title insurance claims. He is a blogger and a sought-after speaker at construction industry events.

Off the clock, Beatty is a founding member and performer with Square One Improv, a comedy improv group performing throughout Southwest Florida. He also devotes time to his wife, children and Boy Scouts of America.

Beatty has been honored throughout his career and was selected as one of Gulfshore Business Magazine’s and Business Observer's top 40 Under 40. He also holds the highest AV® Preeminent™ rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Beatty received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, cum laude, in 1993 and his law degree from the University of Miami, cum laude, in 1996.
