Land Use Attorney Amanda Brock Named President of Real Estate Society

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Amanda Brock has been named President of the Real Estate Investment Society of Southwest Florida (“REIS).

Brock concentrates her practice in the area of land use and environmental law. She handles matters involving zoning, development approvals, environmental compliance, property tax appeals, and contaminated site remediation. Brock speaks on land use and environmental matters and contributes to the firm's The Legal Scoop on Southwest Florida Real Estate blog. Brock has received much recognition over the years, including being recognized by Florida Super Lawyers® magazine as a “Rising Star” in the field of land use, zoning and environmental law (2009-2015), and being named one of Gulfshore Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40 (2015). She also holds an AV® rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Brock serves on the Leadership Council for the Take Stock in Children program and on the Lee County Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Advisory Committee (CLASAC). She also serves on the Executive Council of the Environmental and Land Use Section (ELULS) of the Florida Bar, chairing the Land Use Committee; is Co-Chair of the Land Use Bar Section of the Lee County Bar Association; and, is a member of the Administrative Law Section of The Florida Bar.
