Henderson Franklin Welcomes Michael Green to its Workers’ Compensation Department
Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to welcome Michael Green as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. With more than 15 years of experience in labor and employment law, he focuses his practice on defending employers, insurance carriers and self-insured entities against workers’ compensation claims throughout Florida.

Green’s work involves navigating workplace injury disputes, developing proactive defense strategies and ensuring compliance with evolving state and federal workers’ compensation laws.
Green’s background includes service as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he held leadership positions aboard multiple vessels and as an instructor at a flight squadron. His military experience instilled a disciplined, strategic mindset that informs his legal practice today. Green shares:

In addition to his legal practice, Green is a faculty member at Florida State University College of Law’s Juris Master Program, where he teaches Employment Law and HR Compliance. He is also a frequent speaker at professional conferences, including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Alabama Governor’s Safety & Health Conference on OSHA compliance.
