Shayaan (“Shay”) Raja knows that no two real estate deals are the same. Whether working on a complex commercial project or a residential home closing, he guides his clients every step of the way to meet their ultimate goal. Hard work, passionate advocacy and practical counsel is the cornerstone of Shay’s practice. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida and in the District of Columbia (D.C.). Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, Shay worked in a boutique real estate law firm in Tampa, as well as in Naples, and worked in the legal department for a global technology company in Seattle, Washington.
Shay graduated with his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida. He went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill. While attending UNC, Shay was a Senior Articles Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology.
Originally from Miami, Shay currently resides in Naples. When he isn’t working, he enjoys traveling and playing soccer, and is a devoted soccer and football fan.
Professional and Civic Affiliations
Shay is a member of the Florida Bar and their Young Lawyers Division. He is also a member of both Lee and Collier County Bar Associations.
- Assisted in development and construction of a 36,000 square foot commercial facility and 300-unit residential tower.
- Assisted in the acquisition of over $17 million dollars of land for a farming corporation in Lee and Hendry County.
