John A. Noland's representation of corporate clients includes not only business litigation, but also transactional work such as financing, employment law, and general corporate counseling. He is also general counsel for some of the firm’s corporate clients. John formerly served as chair of the Business Litigation Department for 30 years.
John is admitted to practice in all State courts in Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

John is married to Pamela and has a son, John Andrew “Drew” (Jr.,), and a daughter, Jennifer.

John is active in The Florida Bar and has served as a member of its Board of Governors. He has served as a member on the Joint Commission on Delivery of Legal Services to the Indigent in Florida. He was a former member of The Florida Bar Presidential Advertising Task Force and has served as Chair of the Statewide Advertising Grievance Committee. John has also served as Chairman of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. He was a member of the Commission on Evaluation of Disciplinary Enforcement and a member of the Special Commission on Lawyer Regulation. He was a member of the Bench-Bar Committee for the Middle District of Florida. John is a recipient of the Lee County Bar Association's Liberty Bell Award.
John is a past President of The Florida Bar Foundation and is a past Chair of the Endowment Trustees of the Foundation. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and The Florida Bar Foundation. Additionally, John is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Lee County Bar Association. He has served as president of the Calusa Chapter of the Inn of Court.
John currently serves as the chair of the Lee Memorial Hospital, Inc. d/b/a Lee Health Care Resources Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Military Academy Selection Committee, a board member (and former chair) of the Florida SouthWestern State College Finance Corporation, and a member of the Fort Myers Police Department Pension Board.
Over the years, John has served in leadership positions with numerous civic and community organizations, including the Rotary Club of Fort Myers (board member and past president), First United Methodist Church Board of Trustees (former chair), American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Cypress Cove at HealthPark Florida (board member and past chair), and Investors' Security Trust Company (board member and past chair). He also has served as an attorney for the Children’s Home Society and Habitat for Humanity.
