Overview
Briunna Byrd is a paralegal in Henderson Franklin’s Divorce, Marital & Family Law Department. Her work includes reviewing and preparing documents, tracking deadlines, organizing case files, and coordinating information needed to support the progression of family law matters.
With a strong focus on organization and communication, Briunna works closely with clients to obtain the required information and keep them informed throughout the process. Her attention to detail helps ensure documents are prepared and filed on time and that cases move forward efficiently.
Earlier in her career, Briunna served as a post-adoption specialist with Children’s Network, working closely with state-appointed attorneys and appearing at court hearings to provide judges with updates on children’s cases and adoption status.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a forensic specialization from Capella University. Briunna recently completed her master’s degree and plans to continue her education, including taking the LSAT with the goal of applying to law school.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Briunna is a proud mother and part of a growing blended family. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, traveling, exploring new food and entertainment spots, and spending time with family and friends.
