Antoinette “Toni” Peck concentrates her practice on divorce, marital and family law, including adoptions and dependency. She carefully evaluates each matter to find individualized resolutions to each client’s unique case. Toni prides herself on keeping her clients well informed, giving each prospective client an honest assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of their position, as well as alternatives to litigation, if available. She is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Minnesota, as well as admitted to practice before the federal Middle District of Florida.
Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, Toni owned and operated a solo law practice in LaBelle, Florida for nine years, focusing on marital and family law and other general litigation. She served as an assistant public defender for three years, providing representation for all non-capital offenses to indigent adult and juvenile clients in two rural Florida counties. Toni also clerked for the Honorable Mark M. Starr in Hibbing, Minnesota.
Toni was selected by the Florida Bar to participate in its inaugural class of the Wm. Reece Smith Jr. Leadership Academy. In 2017 she was selected by Florida Bar President Michael Higer to serve on the Florida Bar Annual Convention Committee. Toni has been honored by Florida Rural Legal Services (2014—2016) with its outstanding pro bono service award.
Professional and Civic Affiliations
Toni is a member of the Hendry-Glades Bar Association and served as president from 2014—2016. She has recently served on the Twentieth Judicial Circuit’s Professionalism Committee and Local Professionalism Panel, a panel that addresses complaints of unprofessional behavior of practicing attorneys within the community. She is a current member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
Toni is also a director on the Caloosa Humane Society Inc.’s Board of Directors and previously served as the Caloosa Humane Society’s pro bono legal counsel.
