Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to welcome three law students Michael Fant, Samuel Farkasand Erik Hanson (pictured left to right). They will supplement their law school experience by working as clerks at the firm during the summer.
As part of Henderson Franklin's Summer Associate Program, these students will have an opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of practice areas. Summer associates attend hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and meetings with clients, amongst other activities. Additionally, they perform research, assist in the drafting of pleadings, discovery and other documents, and analyze various legal issues that arise in the course of the matters handled by the firm and its attorneys. Each summer associate is paired with a Henderson Franklin attorney mentor who assists the summer associate with the transition from law student to lawyer.
Fant is a native of Gainesville, Florida and will be entering his final year at University of Florida Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, where he majored in industrial and systems engineering and minored in business administration.
Farkas is entering his final year at Florida State University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree (magna cum laude) from Florida State University, where he majored in political science and communications and was the FSU-TV anchor and host.
Hanson is also entering his final year of law school at Stetson University College of Law and serves as a federal judicial intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Porcelli in Tampa. Hanson received his undergraduate degree in political science,summa cum laude, from Florida Gulf Coast University.
