Employment Law Attorney Suzanne Boy Elected to 2012 Southwest Florida Human Resources Board

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Fort Myers Attorney Suzanne Boy has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Human Resources Management Association of Southwest Florida (“HRMA”). HRMA is the local chapter of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The group strives to promote and advance the understanding and application of every phase of human resource management.

Boy concentrates her practice in employment law, assisting clients with all aspects of employment-related litigation, claims, and client counseling. She is the lead writer of the Southwest Florida Employment Law Blog, and regularly writes articles for other publications. Additionally, Boy frequently speaks to businesses and professional groups on various employment matters. For the past two years, she was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers® magazine as a “Rising Star.”

Boy is a member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar, and the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law. Boy currently serves as an attorney coach for the Bishop Verot High School mock trial team. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, with honors, and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she was an editor of the Stetson Law Review.
