Fort Myers Attorney John Noland Named 2010 Recipient of Liberty Bell Award by Lee County Bar Association

The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Fort Myers Attorney John Noland is the 2010 recipient of the highest award bestowed by the Lee County Bar Association, the Liberty Bell Award. The Liberty Bell Award recognizes an outstanding citizen who has made a selfless contribution to the community that strengthens the effectiveness of the American system of justice. The categories of community service considered include activities that (1) promote a better understanding of our form of government, especially the Bill of Rights; (2) encourage greater respect for the law and the courts; (3) stimulate a deeper sense of individual responsibility; (4) contribute to the effective functioning of our institutes of government; and (5) instill a better understanding and appreciation of the rule of law.

Attorney Noland has served the Southwest Florida legal community for 36 years. He is Chair of Henderson Franklin’s Commercial Litigation practice group and President-Elect of The Florida Bar Foundation. He also has been recognized by many publications, including Best Lawyers in America and Florida Super Lawyers. “In his 36 years with our firm, John has conscientiously taken the time to share his experiences and knowledge and give back to his colleagues, the legal profession and the Fort Myers community,” states Denis Noah, Henderson Franklin’s Managing Partner.

Attorney Noland will be presented with the award at the Law Week Awards Luncheon on April 30, 2010 at Royal Palm Yacht Club in Fort Myers. The annual event begins at 11:30, and is open to the public.
