Henderson Franklin Coaches Fort Myers High School Mock Trial Team to First Place

The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to congratulate Fort Myers High School for placing first in the 16th Annual Lee County High School Mock Trial Competition. For the second year in a row, Henderson Franklin attorneys Douglas Waldorf Jr. and Scott Beatty coached the Fort Myers High School team to first-place honors, defeating Canterbury School in the final round. The first-place team included co-captains Haley Hudler and Steven Waldorf, as well as Brynn McKinstry, Jackie DerOvanesian, Greg Hoffman, Shannon Riley, Melissa Hubble, Brennan Waldorf and Constance Hackler.  The first-place team will compete against winners from Collier and Charlotte counties in circuit competition on February 27 and 28.  The winner of that competition advances to the state finals in Orlando.

In all, Henderson, Franklin attorneys coached a total of four teams in the competition from Fort Myers High School and Canterbury School.  Other attorneys that coached teams were Vicki Sproat, Douglas Szabo, Cody Vaughan-Birch, Suzanne Boy, Traci McKee and John Miller.
