Nicholas “Nick” Risi concentrates his practice in the areas of of federal and state taxation, entrepeneurship counseling, as well as many aspects of business planning, including mergers and acquisitions. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
In law school, Nick interned for the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Internal Revenue Service, Large Business and International Division in Miami. He was also a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, was an active member of the Tax Law Society, and the runner up to the 2009 University of Miami School of Law Moot Court Competition. He also participated in the IRS sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) helping low income individuals file personal tax returns.
Nick is native Floridian, born and raised in Miami before relocating to Fort Myers, where he resides with his Labrador Retriever. When Nick isn’t working, he enjoys fishing off the Southwest Florida coastline and golf.
Nick is a member of the Tax and Business Law Sections of the Florida Bar, as well as an active member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Lee County Bar Association.
