Kevin Noell concentrates his practice in the area of tort and insurance litigation, defending clients in cases involving premise liability, automobile negligence, negligent security and professional malpractice. He also concentrates a portion of his practice representing governmental entities in lawsuits involving personal injury and constitutional and state law claims involving false arrests, use of excessive force and malicious prosecution. Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, Kevin worked for a statewide insurance defense firm. He is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Kevin previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in Lee County, Florida. In that position, he tried over 25 cases to verdict, successfully prosecuting crimes ranging from misdemeanors to punishable by life felonies. During his tenure he also represented the State Attorney’s Office in the county’s Anti-Gang Task Force.
In 2010, Noell was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers ® magazine as a “Rising Star” in the field of civil litigation defense. While only 5% of lawyers in the entire State are named to Florida Super Lawyers®, no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list.
In law school, Kevin was elected to represent the school as a Senator before the Council of Graduate Students and served on the Dean’s Student Advisory Board. Kevin also interned at the Portsmouth Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony crimes utilizing his third year practice certificate. Before entering the practice of law, Kevin served in the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Kevin grew up in South Bend, Indiana and currently resides in Fort Myers with his wife.
