Eugene "Chip" is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer who concentrates his practice in general civil litigation, personal injury and the representation of health care professionals and institutions in malpractice litigation. Chip is certified as a Circuit Court Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and as a certified mediator by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Chip is AV-Rated by Martindale Hubbell and has practiced in the Fort Myers and Naples areas since 1981.

When Chip is not working, he enjoys running, golfing and hiking in the North Georgia mountains. He is married to Cynthia Smith and has two children, Tahlia and Carter.

Professional and Civil Affiliations

Chip is a member of the The Florida Circuit-Civil Mediator Society. He is former chairman of the 20th Judicial Circuit Nominating Committee and past president of the Lee County Bar Association.
